Franchisee Stories

Okay, brass tacks: Is Keyrenter a good franchise to buy? You know what we think. But franchise reviews from owners are much more important. We’ll let Keyrenter franchise owners speak for themselves.

If you're looking to increase your capabilities in this space, or if you're not even in property management yet but are interested in it, Keyrenter is definitely the place to be.

— Rodney Fentress,
Keyrenter owner in Hampton Roads, Virginia

I’ve always believed that most people, when they see you doing well, get jealous and try to bring you down. But there’s a rare group of people who will actually lift you up and push you to achieve more. … And that’s exactly the connection I felt with Keyrenter.

— Dan McKee,
Keyrenter owner in Knoxville, Tennessee

I had a long, successful corporate career, but I grew tired of working in corporate environments. The idea of opening a family business with my son was very appealing.

— Kristine and Benjamin Graham
Keyrenter owners in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (Buxmont)

I was in real estate previously, and I noticed that other property management companies weren’t always doing the right thing for property owners. … I wanted to change the way people viewed property management.

If you’re looking for a business where no two days are the same, with the potential to scale quickly and profitably, I feel that Keyrenter is an incredible opportunity.

A Day in the Life

Thanks to our proprietary systems, Keyrenter franchise owners have flexibility when it comes to building and operating their business.

You’ll oversee day-to-day property management tasks on behalf of your investor clients, including move-in and move-out inspections, property maintenance coordination, tenant screening, securing lease agreements, posting property ads, and collecting rent.

Your daily tasks will also include the larger, more foundational aspects of growing your business, such as meeting with prospective clients and closing management contracts.

Building relationships is a core tenet of our business model, so expect to spend a majority of your time networking and communicating with both prospective and current clients in your local market.

As your business grows, your work days might be spent recruiting and training staff members to assist you with the day-to-day property management services, while you turn your attention to building stronger relationships with property owners and investors. Delegating tasks and communicating with your team are necessary parts of building a successful real estate management empire.

No matter how you spend your business day, you’ll have access to Keyrenter’s suite of technology and proprietary systems (not to mention the franchisee network!) to make managing your portfolio faster, easier, and more cost-effective.
